Villa Semonte

Villa Semonte is located just 4 km from the center of Gubbio, one of the most charming medieval towns in Umbria. The oldest part of the villa dates back to the 1200s and was built by the Benedictine-Olivetani monks, who were involved in wine and olive oil production, as evidenced by the presence of the Mill and the ancient wine press, both still part of the structure and in operation until 1955.

The renovation, carried out in 1976 by the current owners, respected the historical features of the building, preserving its original charm. The park, rich in centuries-old trees and equipped with a heated pool, is surrounded by a forest and an olive grove, ensuring total privacy.

The villa spans four floors. On the ground floor, you’ll find the Mill with exposed beams, housing a spacious living room with a fireplace, a study, a billiard room, a bathroom, and a disco room, perfect for events and parties. On the first floor, there is a living room, a large kitchen with a fireplace and all necessary appliances, a large dining room with a veranda and a fireplace, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room with a bathroom, and a service room.

The third floor leads to the fourth, where there is a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a bathroom, and a fireplace, a second double bedroom, and a single bedroom with a bathroom. All rooms feature exposed beams.

The property also includes a garage with two covered and uncovered parking spaces, an entrance with an electric gate, and an alarm system.
